Recent Grad – Project Administrator
Thursday, April 26th, 2012First Quality is a privately-held group of manufacturing companies who are leaders in their respective
field. The organization is run by hands-on owners with dynamic expansion plans to significantly increase
the size of the business over the next few years.
Due to this continued growth, we are looking for a Project Administrator to cover Central and
Northeastern PA. This position provides administrative and technical support for the IT Project
Management Office of First Quality. The Project Administrator is responsible for project intake,
tracking, report validation, resource tracking, and quality reviews, ensuring all projects are aligned to the
business units’ objectives and following the FQ Project Methodology, actively promoting the adoption
of project management principles within First Quality and particularly within the IT department, and
managing small projects. This position is looked at as a ‘stepping stone’ to becoming a Project Manager
at First Quality.
Some primary responsibilities include:
Increasing business efficiency through project and process improvement using existing tools
across application platforms.
Administering the project management information system on a daily basis.
Reviewing incoming projects for validity and ensuring scheduling for PMO review.
Maintaining the IT Department’s project list and associated status fields used in reporting.
Providing report generation and delivery to the PMO, IT, and project stakeholders on a regular
and ad-hoc basis.
Tracking existing and proposed projects through the project lifecycle ensuring that all projects are
vetted through the appropriate stage gates.
Maintaining the PMO guidelines and associated documentation.
Creating training materials on PMO practices, guidelines, and methodologies.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology based field or equivalent.
Minimum GPA 3.0
Experience via internships or work experience to IT processes and procedures, preferably within
an Information Technology environment or supporting IT business processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, and related Office products.
Hands on with applications and technology tools to deliver solutions.
Desire to acquire project and process management skills.
Problem solving and decision making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

7. Writes the system/technical portion of assigned deliverables, including the Version Description Document. Assists technical team members with the system/technical portion of their deliverables (e.g., systems testers, test plans). On small teams, the developer may write these items.
8. Acts as a system tester for unit, integration, systems, acceptance, and related testing. Writes the test plan to ensure requirements are satisfied.
9. Understands client business functions and technology needs. Understands Vanguard’s tools, technologies, and applications/databases, including those that interface with business area and systems.

SRA Cyber Security Intrusion Analyst (Martinsburg, PA)
