The Marketing & Communications Committee promotes the activities and the mission of the IST Alumni Society. We are responsible for developing marketing materials for the society’s events and programs and ensuring the society has up-to-date, accurate and consistent messages on its Web site, Facebook group, print materials and other media.

Some of the things the committee does include:

• Marketing upcoming events via e-mail, Web site announcements, Facebook events and social media
• Organizing Phone-A-Thons for upcoming events
• Organizing contests
• Facilitating discussion on alumni society forums, such as Facebook discussion boards
• Designing graphics and writing text for IST marketing materials
