Recruiting & Membership Committee
The Recruitment & Membership Committee concentrates on recruiting members into the society and getting members involved. If you have an idea for an event or initiative, please contact Byron Parry and will work together to make it happen!
Who is Eligible?
All persons who are current members of the Penn State Alumni Association and who are graduates or former students, who have completed one semester or two terms of classes in the College, are eligible for membership in the Society.
How Do I Become a Member?
When you join the Penn State Alumni society, you are automatically a part of the IST Alumni Society. The Penn State Alumni society gives all graduating seniors a 1 year membership. After that you have the option to renew your membership by paying an annual fee or a lifetime membership. It is recommended to purchase the lifetime membership, since the fees have been trending upwards, so lock in a good rate now!
Associate Membership
Faculty members, present and past, parents of students or alumni, and other friends of the College shall be admitted to Associate Membership in the Society upon payment of the fee charged by the Penn State Alumni Association for Associate Membership. Associate members shall have voice, but shall not vote nor hold office on the Society’s Alumni Board.
